DISCOVERY DURING THE INITIAL PHASE OF THE DESIGN PROCESS:
During your first meeting with Fox Designs, we will discuss the scope of your project, your goals and your budget. Topics covered are your tastes, your lifestyle, and how you intend to use the space.
BRAINSTORMING DEVELOPS SOLUTIONS:
1) The scope of your project
This includes all the rooms involved, the intended use of each room, and your ideas/goals for each area.
2) Your tastes, preferences & style
We will go through a Q & A, while going through examples and photos to learn about your tastes.
3) Budget
We will establish the budget before we begin the project, as well as determine the best budget options. We will work together in order to set a realistic budget for your space. Different options are introduced in order to achieve the design goals.
We take measurements and photos of the entire space involved. Space planning is critical to any design project. After measurements are taken, we develop floor plans for each room. The floor plans allow us to determine what pieces will best fit, and how everything will be arranged. We will then review with you each floor plan and discuss the our thoughts for each.
BRINGING YOUR DESIGN TO LIFE:
Fox Designs constantly stays up to date on new design trends in order to generate the most up to date design schemes to our satisfied clients. Once the floor plan has been established, the design scheme can be conveyed to the client through digital or hand renderings or tactile displays on presentation boards. We enable this process to come to fruition together. This process may include developing a color palette and selecting fabrics, as well as choosing furniture layout, fixtures and materials. As the ideas are brought to life, wall coverings, flooring, counters and cabinetry are also selected. Through careful selection the ideal window treatments, fabrics, trims and hardware, and lighting are chosen to complement the design scheme. Clients may be asked to also gather samples and photos. Every detail is carefully considered in order to establish price quotes.
Once the design concept is ready to be implemented, we will go through the project steps in detail wth you. We will present memo samples, comparative drawings, and photos for each element, and discuss all options. With your feedback, we will narrow down the options to the best one for each category we are transforming. Once the design has been approved and all elements are feasible, we may begin executing the design and making it come to life!

A time-table is developed for purchasing and ordering, all work to be done, and final installation. This schedule will be adjusted along the way to accommodate unforeseen circumstances. We manage the scheduling and oversee all work to ensure the design is executed properly and with the highest quality workmanship. Throughout the entire process, we manage all the details. We make sure that all concerns have been addressed, furniture ordered, payments made, schedule on track, and no detail overlooked.
This is where the vision becomes reality. All building work has been completed. Now the furniture is delivered, window treatments are installed, rugs laid, accessories placed and art hung. Styling is what elevates your space to "magazine quality" status. It involves adding all of the finishing touches. Before the installation we will choose accessories ... including art, lamps, throws, vases, candles, and other types of accessories. We will place these accessories throughout the space on the day of installation,and provide you with the cost of each item. You can decide what you want to keep and only pay for what is staying, and we will return anything you do not want.
Once the installation is complete, we'll walk through the space and review each room together. If there is anything tyou do not like, we will make sure it gets taken care of. Once this step is complete, the project will have come to a close. We will then discuss plans for photographing the space.
